Rainy day in the mountains.

Something I hadn't considered, when I decided to install win7 on my main machine, is that all my Picasa edits and tags would be lost. Alas, once again I'm left with no way to know whether I've already posted a picture other than scrolling through the entire page. That's just not happening. Brace yourself, there will likely be repeats (at least until the weather is nice enough to go out shooting new stuff).

Cat pictures?! I feel like I'm pandering to the lowest common denomenator. Let's be honest, though. Lowest common demonenator or not, I'm pandering to myself. I loves me some kitties.

As you can see, I am shamelessly mining the "pets" folder. Who's the lumpy headed dude with the incomplete beard?

I haven't used my cameras at all this month, so far. So, in order to ensure that I post something during February and to hedge against the possibility that weather and work will prevent me from taking any new pictures in the next 8 days, I am, once again, going back through the ancient archives.

ATL landmarks

I stepped away from the camera for a second to see if any snow had gotten on the lens and, unfortunately, while I was away from the shutter button the kid in the bottom right hit the tires so hard on an innertube that he flipped over the tires. He landed exactly as he lay in the picture. I can't believe I missed it! It was epic (granted, only in the minor league sense). I was afraid he was, maybe, a little concussed but there were lots of other adults there and nobody else thought it was serious. I will admit, I think I was the only adult that thought it was hilarious.

That's an injury.
