I wish I could have taken a picture of this that really captured how badass it was. Unfortunately you get this (and the hand below).

When you see this thing in real life it's spinning and you're leaning against a railing with a 30 foot drop in front of you. I bet more than one person below has had a precipitous surprise (it's like a pun and a malaprop at the same time).

This one was very bright. Halogen?

While the kids climbed inside the submarine I took pictures of the lightbulbs.

We looked through the helmet into an articulated pressurized diving suit. This blurry jazz is in the helpmet, behind where your head would be.

We followed glass from recycle bin, through color sorting, and then to cullet.

When we planned to go to COSI today we didn't know if there'd be anything there to take pictures of and, since picture taking wasn't really part of the trip, I decided to give the ol' HP945 and outing. It did pretty well, apart from this shot where the "shutter" stuck "open."
